Audio Power Amplifier IC LM Series

Audio Power Amplifier 170W LM4651 The combination of the LM4651 driver IC and the LM4652 power MOSFET Class D power amplifier IC provides a high efficiency amplifier solution, suitable for self-powered speakers, subwoofers and quality car boosters.

The LM 4651 is a fully integrated conventional pulse width modulator (PWM) driver, containing undervoltage, short circuit, overmodulation, and thermal shutdown protection circuitry. The IC features a standby function which shuts down the pulse width modulation, minimizing supply current.

The LM 4652 is a fully integrated H-bridge Power Mosfet IC in a TO220 power package. The IC has a built in temperature sensor to alert the LM4651 when the die temperature exceeds the threshold limit.

Used together, the LM4651 and LM4652 form a simple, compact, efficient, high quality power audio amplifier solution complete with protection, normally seen only in Class AB amplifiers.

The maximum efficiency of this circuit is 85% at 125W with a standby attenua…

60W+60W Audio Power Amplifier

Features:

Pin compatible IC series that covers power ratings from 50 W × 2 channels to 180 W × 2 channels at 0.7 or 0.8% THD, 20 Hz to 20 kHz. This allows the use of a common PCB for all output classes. The pin arrangement is also unified with that of the three-channel STK413-000 series. This means that PCBs designed for three-channel models can also be used for two-channel models. Miniature package — 50 W/ch to 120 W/ch (THD = 0.8%, f = 20 Hz to 20 kHz): 64 × 36.5× 8.5 mm* — 150 W/ch to 180 W/ch (THD = 0.7%, f = 20 Hz to 20 kHz): 78 × 44× 9 mm* * Not including the IC pins. Allowable load shorted time: 0.3 sCircuit Diagram:

100W Audio Power Amplifier with Mute

General Description: The LM4732 is a stereo audio amplifier capable of typically delivering 50W per channel of continuous average output power into a 4Ω or 8Ω load with less than 10% THD+N from 20Hz - 20kHz. The LM4732 has short circuit protection and a thermal shut down feature that is activated when the die temperature exceeds 150˚C. The LM4732 also has an under voltage lock out feature for click and pop free power on and off. Each amplifier of the LM4732 has an independent smooth transition fade-in/out mute. The LM4732 has a wide operating supply range from +/-10V - +/-40V allowing for lower cost unregulated power supplies to be used. The LM4732 amplifiers can easily be configured for bridge or parallel operation for 100W mono solutions. Audio Power Amplifier with Built-in AGC AN12972A

Overview: Audio Power Amplifier with Built-in AGC AN12972A  Increasing volume settings when using small speakers  results in distortion as the output signal distorts at high  gain settings. The AN12972A audio power amplifier  features built-in automatic gain control (AGC) circuitry to minimize distortion by decreasing too high an input gain level. Using a low-noise amp minimizes noise even  when the speaker is placed close to an ear.
Features:
Built-in AGC circuitry if an input level is too high, the AGC is activated to minimize distortion, raising the  overall volume level and reducing noise.Low noise amplifier.Input circuit format accommodates different input signals (mixing possible)Standby and speaker mute functions.Small package.Cellular phones, PDAs and other mobile equipment

General description:
The TDA8595 is a complementary quad Bridge Tied Load (BTL) audio power amplifier made in BCDMOS technology. It contains four independent amplifiers in BTL configuration. Through the I2C-bus, diagnosis of temperature warning and clipping level is fully programmable and the information available via two diagnostic pins is selectable. The status of each amplifier (output offset, load or no load, short-circuit or speaker incorrectly connected) can be read separately.
