General description:

The TDA8954 is a stereo or mono high-efficiency Class D audio power amplifier in a  single IC featuring low power dissipation. It is designed to deliver up to 2 × 210 W into a 4 Ω load in a stereo Single-Ended (SE) application, or 1 × 420 W into an 8 Ω load in a mono Bridge-Tied Load (BTL) application. It combines the benefits of Class D efficiency (≈93 % into a 4 Ω load) with audiophile sound quality comparable to that associated with Class AB amplification. The amplifier operates over a wide supply voltage range from ±12.5 V to ±42.5 V and  features low quiescent current consumption. The TDA8954 is supplied with two diagnostic pins for monitoring the status of Thermal  Fold Back (TFB), Over Current Protection (OCP) and other protection circuits.

General description:
The TDA8596 is a quad Bridge Tied Load (BTL) audio power amplifier with symmetrical inputs, made in BCDMOS technology. It contains four independent amplifier channels in BTL configuration with complementary (PMOST/NMOST) output stages. Temperature warning and output signal clipping diagnosis is possible via the I2C-bus and via the diagnostic pins (DIAG and STB pin). The temperature pre-warning level and clip detection levels can be programmed via the I2C-bus. The status of each amplifier channel (i.e. output offset, load connected or not, short circuit condition at the output pins) can be read out separately.

General Description:

TDA7572 is a highly integrated, highly versatile, semi-custom IC switch mode audio amplifier. It integrates audio signal processing and power amplification tailored for standalone remote bass box applications, while providing versatility for full bandwidth operation in either automotive or  consumer audio environments. It's configured as  one full bridge channel, using two clocked PWM  modulators driving external, complementary FET's. Broad operating voltage is supported, allowing operation from both 14 V and 42 V automotive power buses, as well as from split supplies for consumer electronics use. A current mode control boost converter controller is provided to allow high power operation in a 14 V environment. Turn-on and turn-off transients are minimized by soft muting/unmuting and careful control of offsets within the IC. Digital Audio input is supported by an integrated one channel DAC. Sophisticated diagnostics and protection provide fault reporting via I2C and power shutdown for safety related faults. TDA7572 is packaged in a HiQUAD-64 package.

General Description:

The LM12 is a power op amp capable of driving g25V at g10A while operating from g30V supplies. The monolithic IC can deliver 80W of sine wave power into a 4X load with 0.01% distortion. Power bandwidth is 60 kHz. Further, a peak dissipation capability of 800W allows it to handle reactive loads such as transducers, actuators or small motors without derating. The IC delivers g10A output current at any output voltage yet is completely protected against overloads, including shorts to the supplies. The dynamic safe-area protection is provided by instantaneous peak-temperature limiting within the power transistor array The turn-on characteristics are controlled by keeping the output open-circuited until the total supply voltage reaches 14V. The output is also opened as the case temperature exceeds 150§C or as the supply voltage approaches the BVCEO of the output transistors. The IC withstands overvolt ages to 80V.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The AD1991 is a 2-channel BTL or 4-channel single-ended class D audio power output stage. The part is configured during reset to be in either 2-channel mode or 4-channel mode. To protect the IC as well as the connected speakers, the AD1991 provides turn-on and turn-off pop suppression, short-circuit protection, and overtemperature shutdown. To control the IC, a power-down/reset input and a mute pin are available. The output stage can be operated over a power supply range from 8 V to 20 V. In 2-channel mode, Transistors A1, B2, C1, and D2 are turned on by a Logic 1 on inputs INA and INC, and Transistors A2, B1, C2, and D1 are turned on by a Logic 0 on inputs INA and INC. In 4-channel mode, Transistors A1, B1, C1, and D1 are turned on by a Logic 1 on the four inputs, and Transistors A2, B2, C2, and D2 are turned on by a Logic 0 on the four inputs (see the Functional Block Diagrams).

Description
STA516B is a monolithic quad half-bridge stage in multipower BCD technology. The device can be used as dual bridge or reconfigured, by connecting pin CONFIG to pins VDD, as a single  bridge with double-current capability or as a half bridge (binary mode) with half current capability. The device is designed, particularly, to be the  output stage of a stereo all digital high efficiency  amplifier. It is capable of delivering 200 W + 200 W into 6  loads with THD = 10% at VCC = 51 V or, in single BTL configuration, 400 W  into a 3 load with THD = 10% at VCC = 52 V. The input pins have a threshold proportional to the voltage on pin VL. Class-T amplifiers offer both the audio fidelity of Class-AB and the power efficiency of Class-D amplifiers. The TA2024C has incorporated specific changes to improve the click and pop performance over  previous devices such as TA2024 and TA2024B. The TA2024C is recommended for all new designs  that previously used the TA2024 or TA2024B.

General description

The TDA8932B is a high efficiency class-D amplifier with low power dissipation. The continuous time output power is 2 × 15 W in stereo half-bridge application (RL = 4 Ω) or 1 × 30 W in mono full-bridge application (RL = 8 Ω). Due to the low power dissipation the device can be used without any external heat sink when playing music. Due to the implementation of thermal foldback, even for high supply voltages and/or lower load impedances, the device continues to operate with considerable music output power without the need for an external heat sink. The device has two full-differential inputs driving two independent outputs. It can be used in a mono full-bridge configuration (BTL) or in a stereo half-bridge configuration (SE).

General description

The TDA8931 is a switching power stage for high efficiency class-D audio power amplifier systems. It contains a Single-Ended (SE) power stage, drive logic, protection control logic, a full differential input comparator and a HVP charger to charge the SE capacitor. With this amplifier a compact 1 × 20 W closed loop self-oscillating digital amplifier system can be built. The TDA8931 has a high efficiency so that a heat sink is not required up to 20 W (RMS). The system operates on an asymmetrical and a symmetrical supply voltage.
